heidisuul.com

Heidi Suul is an illustrator, graphic designer and comic artist, and her work already lives in a few places: her comics on Panserlugg, her design work on Instagram, and her CV on LinkedIn. She needed one simple address to send people to, so I built heidisuul.com.

The page is deliberately small. Her hand-lettered signature sits at the top, followed by a short hello and three round, illustrated links that zoom gently on hover. It is a static Astro site on Vercel, with proper Open Graph and structured data so links to it look right when shared.

The fun part is the background. Behind the content, calligraphic scribbles draw themselves: swooshes, loops, stars, spirals, hearts and flowers in hand-drawn strokes, like doodles in the margin of a sketchbook. It gives a very plain page some of the personality of her drawings without getting in the way of them.
